We've recently changed the naming of our sizes beyond XL to make our sizing easier to understand and eliminate confusion between our XXL and 2X sizes. The fit and measurements have not changed, only the names!

If you've purchased DFR overalls before, you may notice different size names during this transition. We've put together this guide to show how our old and new sizing conventions correspond.

Why Did DFR Change the Size Names?

We made this change to make our extended sizing more consistent and easier to understand. Our previous naming system used both XXL and 2X, which could make it unclear whether they referred to the same size.

Nothing about the garment fit or measurements has changed. If you previously wore an XXL, you are now looking for a DFR 2X.

What Size Should I Order?

If you're shopping DFR for the first time, we recommend choosing your size based on your body measurements rather than the size you normally wear in another brand. Different brands use different measurements and fits.

What If I Previously Wore XXL, 1X, 2X, etc.?

Previously wore XXL? → Look for DFR 2X
Previously wore 1X? → Look for DFR 3X
Previously wore 2X? → Look for DFR 4X
Previously wore 3X? → Look for DFR 5X
Previously wore 4X? → Look for DFR 6X

The fit and measurements have not changed. This update only changes what we call the sizes. If you previously purchased one of these sizes and it fit you well, you should look for the corresponding new DFR size.
